NCC Patterson Creek Park Bistro

Excellent location, just off the Rideau Canal. You can even access it by kayak or canoe! Great coffee, pastries, sandwiches, and ice cream. Plus ... Reasonably priced gin tonics on a summer afternoon are the real bonus!

This is such a fantastic idea. Nice place to stop by when walking through the park or on the canal. Variety of options to choose from. Many different baked goods and drinks. They even have ice cream from the Merry Dairy. Options for dairy free too which is a plus. I definitely recommend trying the toasted coconut ice cream, tastes just like a coconut cream pie. No cones for the ice cream but it comes in a cup. Plenty of seating available and there are bathrooms too. Shaded seating and seating in the sun right beside the canal. Prices are good too. Parking is available on the street nearby. I believe it was a 2 hour limit but we didn't have to pay.

Been meaning to stop here since it opened a couple years back. It's a lovely little spot right on the canal. Bold bird life looking for handouts. Did not have any food, but it looked appetizing. Dear NCC: do more of this kind of thing.

Very nice spot to stop in for a snack and a drink when you go out for a walk around the neighborhood. A lovely location. Lovely service as well.

Natalie and Chloe were exceptional at making our experience at the NCC Patterson Creek Bistro a time to remember. I have several dietary restrictions and they went out of their way to accommodate my needs within the limits of their menu. We were celebrating my mom's birthday and what a wonderful little spot to have a quiet bite on a beautiful fall day. I would recommend this spot for anyone looking for a place to meet up with a friend to chat, needing a restful break with a good coffee or wanting a good quality lunch.

I must admit that when this bistro first opened I was skeptical, given that the NCC tends to have an anti-midas touch when it comes to planning things. To my happy surprise, this patio has been a wonderful addition to the community, as I have had many fun times here with family and friends. This is a highly enjoyable place to grab a drink and snack, especially on summer weekends, when Queen Elizabeth Driveway is closed to cars during the day.

This is my new favourite place ever. Such a lovely location & patio, really good coffee, and also serving food and alcohol if you’re so inclined!
